FRANKLIN, Ky. (Tuesday, December 17, 2024) — It’s the most wonderful time of the year, indeed! And the Mint Gaming Hall properties throughout southern Kentucky are adding to the holiday cheer with a ho ho ho! lot of promotions.
We’re giving away cash, free play, merchandise and, of course, our annual Kentucky Downs/The Mint souvenir wall calendar on New Year’s Day.
Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs in Franklin, The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green and The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland in Williamsburg are staging some form of drawings every day heading into the New Year, with select promotions also offered at The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland Run in Corbin.
Promotions are limited to Mint Rewards Players Club members. The players-club program is free to join; those at least 21 years old can sign up on the spot to be eligible for giveaways. Those signing up for The Mint Rewards and The Mint Gaming Hall app also can win up to $1,000 in free play. More information is available at TheMintGaming.com, and at the onsite Players Clubs.
Promotions include Twelve Days of Christmas, Santa’s Workshop Kiosk Game, Ornamint to Win and special kiosk games and drawings on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, with restrictions applying. The Mint Gaming properties are starting spring cleaning early with the Clean The Closet giveaway on Sunday, Dec. 22, where guests earning 30 same-day Tier points during the giveaway hours can pick their gift while supplies last.
The 2025 Kentucky Downs/The Mint Gaming calendars given to Mint Rewards members on Jan. 1 include coupons totaling $40 for free play on specific days at all four Mint Gaming properties. The giveaway runs from noon to 7 p.m. New Year’s Day while supplies last. The calendars — with the theme “Join in the Joy” — feature 13 months of spectacular photos from Kentucky Downs, the Cumberland Run harness meet and more. Included are the racing dates for all nine Kentucky horse tracks, key sports dates and holidays.
The four Kentucky Mint Gaming locales are open daily year-round. The Mint in Franklin, Bowling Green and in Williamsburg offer special holiday hours: open around-the-clock from 9 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 24 through Monday Jan. 6 at 5 a.m. Corbin’s hours will remain 10 a.m.-midnight daily.
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy betting college football bowl and playoff games, the NFL, college basketball, the NBA and more at our retail sportsbook Circa Sports Kentucky in Franklin and DraftKings Sportsbook in Bowling Green, along with DraftKings self-bet kiosks in Williamsburg and Corbin. Wagering on horse racing across the country also is available.
The Mint Bowling Green’s TopGolf Swing Suites in the Post Time Racing and Sports Lounge are open daily, including Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The immersive experience offers guests interactive sports and carnival games that give the feel of participating at physical golf courses, stadiums and arenas while watching the competition play out on a big screen TV. No fuss, no muss Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner specials are available at The Mint Gaming at Kentucky Downs (in Corner Cafe and Irons), The Mint Bowling Green (Corner Cafe) and The Mint Cumberland (The Backyard race and sports grill, which features a separate family-friendly entrance). On deck at The Mint Event Center: The Mint Event Center’s 2025 schedule kicks off with Barracuda: America’s Heart Tribute, which appropriately will be on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
