Franklin, KY (August 13, 2025) – Circa Sports Kentucky will host its official grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 23 at The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Franklin, KY. The all-day event will mark the formal debut of the state’s largest retail sportsbook, featuring an 80-foot-wide LED screen, 31-foot-wide odds board and over 5,100 square feet of space with premium seating options, a live VSiN broadcast studio, staffed betting counters and self-service kiosks.

The grand opening celebration will run from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and feature a variety of promotions and activations throughout the day, including:

Deposit Match Bonus: Bettors can take advantage of a deposit match promotion offering up to $250 on the Circa Sports Kentucky mobile app. This offer is available exclusively at the retail sportsbook counter at The Mint Gaming Hall and is valid from August 20 through August 24.

Giveaways: All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a reserved sportsbook booth for every pro football Sunday of the 2025 season (18 games total). The drawing will take place at 6 p.m. CST, and the selected winner must be present.

Western Kentucky vs. Sam Houston Watch Party: The sportsbook with host a college football watch party for the 2025 season opener between Western Kentucky and Sam Houston, airing at 6 p.m. CST on the venue’s 80-foot-wide LED screen.

A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, August 20 at the sportsbook, featuring remarks from Derek Stevens, Circa Sports VP of Operations Mike Palm and representatives from The Mint Gaming Hall. A meet and greet with well-known On3 college football insider Brett McMurphy also will be held on Friday, August 22 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the sportsbook.
