Kentucky Downs today announced the live television schedule for the 1/ST BET Kentucky Downs 2026 meet, which features daily live broadcast on FanDuel TV and Peacock, as well as NBC and NBC Sports Network on both Saturdays.
Additionally, all seven days of the meet will be livestreamed on the Kentucky Downs YouTube channel (@kentuckydownsracing8897), starting 30 minutes prior to each first post. DRF En Espanol also will provide live coverage every day of the meet.
On Opening Day, Saturday, August 29, NBC Sports Network and Peacock will provide Kentucky Downs coverage from 3:00-5:00 PM Central Time, which will include the Grade 1, $1.75 million Kentucky Downs Ladies Sprint for fillies and mares going 6 ½ furlongs.
The following Saturday, September 5 kicks off the three-day U.S. Open of Turf Championships, which will broadcast on NBC from 3:00–5:00 PM Central Time. The time slot will include both Breeders’ Cup “Win And You’re In” qualifiers scheduled for that day: the Grade 2, $2 million Kentucky Turf Cup Invitational (BC Turf) and the Grade 2, $1.75 million Kentucky Downs Turf Sprint (BC Turf Sprint). Also to be shown on NBC that day is the Grade 2, $3 million Nashville Derby, which is the second richest race for 3-year-olds in the nation trailing only the Kentucky Derby.
Each day of racing will feature at least 11 races, with a 12:25 PM CT first post during the U.S. Open of Turf Championships (Saturday, September 5–Monday, September 7) and a 12:55 PM CT first post on the remaining four days.
